Arunachal: Land of the Rising Sun - 7 Days Frontier Journey
Why choose Best Arunachal Pradesh Rising Sun Tour Package with our Shimla-based experts?
Ready to journey to the farthest eastern corners of the Indian Himalayas? Our 7-day 'Rising Sun' trip is made for travelers who want to see the raw, untouched beauty of Arunachal Pradesh. This isn't just a mountain trip; it's a deep look into the peaceful Buddhist heritage of the Monpa people and the wild geography of the Indo-China border. You'll drive through the landmark Sela Tunnel—the world’s longest twin-lane tunnel at this altitude—and reach the snow-covered heights of Bum La Pass (15,200 ft). We’ve planned this itinerary to be detailed and comfortable, using sturdy 4x4 vehicles for the high passes and handpicked mountain lodges. From the 400-year-old spiritual fortress of Tawang Gompa to the misty apple orchards of Dirang, we'll show you the magic of the 'Land of the Rising Sun' while handling all the complex permits and border rules for you.
"We believe that travel in these mountains should never be rushed. Having spent years guiding travelers along these exact roads, my advice is to take the early morning walks when the air is absolutely crisp and local life is just starting. Avoid the generic tourist traps and ask our drivers to stop at the small roadside dhabas for fresh cedar-smoke chai. We don't just plan itineraries—we connect you with the real, unhurried soul of our home."
