Your trip begins with a pick-up from Jaipur airport or station. We drive through the scenic Rajasthan highway to reach the historic city of Ajmer. After checking into your hotel, we head to the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Walk through the vibrant flower markets and feel the deep spiritual energy as you enter the shrine. In the evening, visit the beautiful Ana Sagar Lake and see the Baradari marble pavilions built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Enjoy a warm traditional dinner in Ajmer. Altitude: 480m.
The Sacred Oasis: Drive to Pushkar (15km) 510m
After breakfast, we take a short scenic drive over the Aravalli pass to reach the sacred town of Pushkar. Check into your heritage haveli and head straight to the Pushkar Lake. Walk through the 52 ghats where pilgrims have been coming for centuries. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Brahma Temple to see its red spire and ancient carvings. As the sun sets, we head to the main ghat for the 'Maha Aarti'—a beautiful ceremony of fire and chants. Spend your night in the quiet, spiritual atmosphere of the town. Altitude: 510m.
Hilltop Views & Heading Home Varies
Wake up to the sound of temple bells. We’ll take the fun ropeway (cable car) up to the Savitri Mata Temple on the Ratnagiri hill. From the top, the view of the entire desert town and the surrounding hills is incredible. After a fresh breakfast, spend some time shopping for unique souvenirs in the colorful Pushkar bazaar.
