Your Jodhpur trip begins as our driver meets you at the airport or station and takes you to your heritage hotel. In the afternoon, we’ll take a guided walk through the 'Brahmapuri' area, the most famous part of the Blue City. Learn why the houses have been painted indigo for centuries and get some great photos. Later, visit the Toorji-ka-Jhalra stepwell to see its incredible stone geometry. Enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner on a rooftop with a view of the illuminated fort. Altitude: 231m.
The Mighty Fortress: Mehrangarh & Jaswant Thada 231m
After a fresh breakfast, we head up to Mehrangarh Fort. This massive 15th-century castle stands 400 feet above the city. Our guide will show you the Mirror Palace, the Flower Palace, and the amazing collection of royal gear. Next, visit the serene Jaswant Thada, a white marble memorial surrounded by small lakes and quiet gardens. In the late afternoon, explore the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace museum. Desert Tribes & Final Departure 231m
Enjoy a final breakfast overlooking the city. If you have time before your departure, we can arrange a short Jeep safari to the nearby Bishnoi villages.
