Arrival & Evening at Nakki Lake 1,220m
Your trip starts with a pick-up from Abu Road Railway Station or Udaipur. Enjoy a scenic drive up the winding mountain roads to reach Mount Abu (28km from Abu Road). After checking into your hotel, head to Nakki Lake in the afternoon. Legend says the lake was dug by the Gods using their nails! Enjoy a relaxing pedal boat ride as the sun begins to set. Spend your evening walking through the vibrant Mall Road and try some local Rajasthani snacks. Dinner features traditional Rajasthani and Gujarati flavors. Altitude: 1,220m.
Marble Wonders & High Peak Views 1,722m
After a fresh breakfast, visit the grand Dilwara Jain Temples. The intricate marble work here is incredibly detailed and will leave you amazed. Tip: Photography isn't allowed inside, so take your time to really look at the beautiful 'hanging' marble designs. In the afternoon, drive up to Guru Shikhar, the highest peak in Rajasthan. Visit the temple at the summit and enjoy the cool breeze. Later, visit the Peace Park gardens and head to Honeymoon Point for a stunning sunset view over the valley. Farewell dinner at your hotel. Heritage Walks & Heading Home Varies
Wake up to the fresh mountain air. We’ll take a short hike to Toad Rock for a great bird's-eye view of the lake and town. Later, visit the Adhar Devi Temple, which is uniquely carved out of a solid rock. After your final mountain breakfast, enjoy some time for shopping at the local markets. Look for beautiful Rajasthani textiles and sandalwood handicrafts. We’ll then take you back to Abu Road or Udaipur for your onward journey. Altitude: 1,220m to 263m.
