Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi/Chandigarh to Kasol | Parvati Valley Gateway 1,580m
Private pickup from Delhi/Chandigarh. Drive through the scenic Parvati Valley past Bhuntar to reach Kasol (1,580m). Check into your riverside camp/hotel. Take an evening walk across the suspension footbridge to Chalal village through tall pine woods. Tip: Enjoy wood-fired pizza and Israeli shakshuka at Kasol riverside cafes.
Day 2: Kasol to Barshaini & Trek to Kheerganga (2,960m) 2,960m (Kheerganga Summit)
Drive to Barshaini (the roadhead) and start the 12km scenic trek to Kheerganga (2,960m). The trail winds past the roaring Parvati River, sacred Rudranaag waterfall, and deep deodar forests. Reach the Kheerganga summit by afternoon. Soak in the natural hot sulphur spring pool overlooking snow peaks. Evening camping under starry skies with a bonfire. Tip: Pack a change of swimwear/towel in your daypack for the hot springs; separate bathing enclosures exist for men and women.
Day 3: Kheerganga Descent to Tosh Village & Manikaran 2,400m (Tosh)
Wake up to crisp sunrise over the Parvati peaks. Descend back to Barshaini and take a short drive to the traditional wooden village of Tosh (2,400m). Walk along apple orchards and mountain cafes. Visit Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara and its legendary boiling hot water springs. Return to Kasol. Tip: Try the Langar prasad cooked in the natural boiling geothermal springs of Manikaran.
Day 4: Kasol to Chandigarh/Delhi Departure Descent to Plains
Morning breakfast beside the Parvati River before departing for Chandigarh or Delhi NCR. Arrive home by late evening. Tip: Stash your power bank and camera gear safely during the descent.
