Welcome to Bikaner: Haveli Walks & Local Life 242m
Our driver will pick you up from the Bikaner station or airport and take you to your heritage hotel. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the Rampuria Haveli area. These massive red sandstone houses were built by wealthy merchants and have some of the most detailed designs you'll ever see. Spend your evening walking through the heart of the old city, seeing local life and trying some fresh snacks from the bazaar. Bikaner is famous for its beautiful dyed silk, so don't forget to look for 'Bandhej' fabrics. Altitude: 242m.
Royal Forts & Desert Camels 242m
After a fresh breakfast, visit the grand Junagarh Fort. This fort was never conquered and is famous for its beautiful gold-leaf work and royal halls. In the afternoon, we drive to the National Research Centre on Camels. It’s a great place to see different types of camels and learn how important they are to desert life. Tip: Try the camel milk ice cream—it has a unique taste that locals love! Spend your evening relaxing or exploring more of the colorful markets. Altitude: 242m.
Deshnoke Temple & Heading Home 242m
Today we take a short drive (30km) to Deshnoke to visit the sacred Karni Mata Temple. You'll see thousands of rats living peacefully inside the marble temple—they are considered holy and are worshipped by visitors. If you spot a white rat, consider yourself very lucky! After your visit, we’ll take a quick walk through the Lallgarh Palace grounds before taking you to the airport or station for your journey home. Your Bikaner trip ends here with many wonderful stories to tell. Altitude: 242m.
