Your trip starts with a pick-up from Rajkot or Jamnagar airport. Enjoy a comfortable drive through the Gujarat plains toward the Somnath coast. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Somnath Temple, the first of the twelve Jyotirlingas. See the beautiful sandstone carvings and learn about how the temple has been rebuilt over the centuries. Coastal Drive: Porbandar to Dwarka (230km) 3m
After a morning prayer at Somnath, we drive along the beautiful coastal highway toward Porbandar (230km). We’ll stop at Kirti Mandir, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, to see its traditional haveli architecture. On our way to Dwarka, we’ll also stop at the scenic Madhavpur Ghed beach for some photos. Divine Islands: Dwarkadhish & Bet Dwarka 3m
Spend your morning visiting the grand Dwarkadhish Temple, a 2,500-year-old masterpiece. Watch the traditional 52-yard flag being hoisted, a unique ritual of this shrine.
