Welcome to the Holy Ganga: Arrival in Rishikesh 340m
Your spiritual journey begins with a pick-up from the Dehradun airport or Haridwar station. A short drive takes you to the peaceful town of Rishikesh. After checking into your riverside resort, spend your afternoon relaxing by the Ganga. As the sun sets, we’ll take you to Triveni Ghat to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. The chanting, the scent of incense, and the flickering lamps on the water create an atmosphere of pure peace. We’ll have a short briefing in the evening about the high-altitude journey ahead. Into the Mountains: Drive to Guptkashi (180km) 1,319m
After a fresh breakfast, we begin our scenic drive into the Garhwal Himalayas. This is a beautiful passage through India's spiritual history. We’ll stop at Devprayag to see the holy confluence where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form the Ganga. The drive continues along the Mandakini river to reach Guptkashi by late afternoon. After check-in, we’ll do a final check of your health certificates and gear for tomorrow's flight. The Sacred Ascent: Helicopter to Kedarnath 3,583m
At daybreak, we’ll take you to the helipad in Phata or Sirsi. Within 10 minutes, your helicopter clears the high ridges, offering an amazing bird’s-eye view of the snow peaks before landing near the shrine. From here, it’s a short walk to the ancient stone temple. After a peaceful Darshan of the Jyotirlinga, we assist with your check-in at the cottages near the temple. The evening is spent attending the Aarti, where the mountain air resonates with conch shells and prayers. Watching the temple under the starlit sky is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Morning Blessings & Return to the Valley 1,319m
Wake up early for the morning prayers and witness the sun hit the Kedarnath peak behind the temple. After breakfast, take a short walk to the Bhairav Nath temple for a grand view of the entire Kedar valley. Board your helicopter for the return flight to the base, where our driver will be waiting to take you back to your resort in Guptkashi.
