During this period, vehicular access becomes completely impossible. We substitute lower-altitude forest walks, village visits, and riverside activities during the winter months instead.

Do I require special permits to enter the Great Himalayan National Park areas?

This carefully designed itinerary covers the eco-zone and designated park periphery, which are freely accessible to all visitors without any special permits. Entry into the protected core zone of the park, however, requires advance approval from the Forest Department and is not included in this standard tour package.
