Welcome to the Silent Valley: Arrival at Binsar 2,200m
Your trip begins as we pick you up from the Kathgodam railway station or Pantnagar airport. We’ll drive you through the scenic hills of Almora to reach the Binsar Sanctuary gate. After a short drive through the forest core, check into your ridge-top lodge and relax. Binsar is a 'No-Horn' zone, so enjoy the incredible silence. In the afternoon, take a slow walk around the lodge to spot local birds and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Keep your voice low and you might even spot a barking deer in the woods. Altitude: 2,200m.
Zero Point Morning & Forest Trails 2,420m
Wake up early at 5:30 AM for a gentle 2km trek to Zero Point, the highest peak in Binsar. Watching the sun rise over the 300km long wall of Himalayan peaks is a sight you'll never forget. After a fresh breakfast, spend your day exploring the forest trails with our local naturalist. Binsar is home to over 200 species of birds, and we’ll help you spot the most colorful ones. Kasar Devi Visit & Heading Home Varies
After breakfast, we begin our drive back down toward the plains. On the way, we’ll visit the famous Kasar Devi temple. This ancient ridge is known globally for its unique magnetic energy—a peaceful place that has attracted seekers for decades. Stop at the local Almora market to buy some authentic 'Bal Mithai' sweets before we take you back to Kathgodam for your journey home. Your Binsar nature retreat ends here. Altitude: Descent to 550m.
