In the afternoon, we head into the massive Chittorgarh Fort through its seven high gateways. Explore the Rana Kumbha Palace and learn about the royal history of the Mewar kings. Climb the 157 steps of the Vijay Stambh for a bird's-eye view of the entire valley. Tip: Sunset is the best time at the Tower of Victory; the red sandstone glows with a beautiful crimson light.
